6-metre swimming length – the sweet-spot size
The INFINITAS SP6000 is the balanced size in our fully inground series: 6 metres of swimming length give ambitious swimmers measurably more stroke distance than more compact models, without the space and energy requirements of an 8- or 10-metre pool. Four pumps and 22 jets deliver the performance for a full-fledged swimming and massage experience – all year round, in any weather.
Like all models in the series, the SP6000 is fully sunken without a separate service shaft; the equipment is accessible from above via an integrated bay. Details on construction and excavation planning can be found on the Fully Inground Swim Spas
In a 4- or 5-metre pool, every stroke quickly ends at the pool wall. Only from a swimming length of around 5.5 to 6 metres does a movement pattern emerge that is carried by the current rather than dominated by constant turning. With just under 5 metres of net swimming distance (plus massage area), the SP6000 sits exactly in this zone without moving into the next weight and energy class. For homeowners with medium-sized gardens, this is the most economical size choice in practice.
Four pumps for intensive massage and a powerful counter-current
Compared with more compact models in the series, the SP6000 has four massage pumps plus a circulation pump. This is particularly noticeable in two functions: first, the hydromassage in the three seating positions, where increased water pressure enables noticeably deeper massage; second, the optional turbine counter-current system, whose eight power levels can only show their full range with sufficient pump capacity. The two turbines generate a turbulence-free swimming current that challenges even trained swimmers.
Water treatment and energy efficiency in outdoor operation
As standard, the SP6000 comes with a UV steriliser, ozone disinfection and cartridge filter. The INFINITAS Vision System for chlorine-free water care using silver and copper ions is available as an option. The polypropylene exterior cladding protects the equipment from the weather; the INFINITAS Nordic Insulation System with a 15 cm Nordic Cap reduces heat loss even in winter. The power supply requires a 400 V / 25 A three-phase connection with RCD protection and C-type fuse. The optional 9, 13 or 17 kW heat pumps significantly reduce heating costs compared with heater-only operation – details under pool heat pump.
