The INFINITAS SP5000 in detail
A compact solution for the garden
The INFINITAS SP5000 is the entry-level model of our fully inground series and one of the most compact solutions for a fully sunken swim spa in the garden. With a 5-metre swimming length, an optional turbine counter-current system with eight power levels and seating, it is ideal for homeowners who value athletic swimming but want to reduce the construction effort and footprint of a classic swim spa.
Like all models in the fully inground series, the SP5000 is installed without a service shaft – the equipment is accessible from above via an integrated bay. Find out more about the construction and a comparison with semi-inground models on our Fully Inground Swim Spas overview page.
Swimming, training and relaxing on 5 metres
With a pool length of 5 metres, the SP5000 offers enough distance for turbulence-free swim training. Combined with the optional turbine counter-current system – two separate turbines with eight power levels – the pool becomes a full-fledged training device covering everything from gentle laps for beginners to intensive interval sessions for ambitious swimmers. The three seats at the rear of the pool then invite you to enjoy hydrotherapy and relax together.
When is the SP5000 the right choice?
The SP5000 is particularly suitable when a compact fully inground solution is required — for example in medium-sized gardens where a 6- or 8-metre pool would be too large. The model also works well indoors in a conservatory or pool extension, as the reduced excavation and the absence of a service clearance make integration into existing buildings much easier. If a separate hot tub area is also desired, take a look at the larger SP5200 with integrated hot tub zone.
Equipment and water treatment
As standard, the SP5000 is supplied with a UV steriliser, ozone disinfection and cartridge filter. Optionally, the INFINITAS Vision System can be used, which treats the water largely chlorine-free using silver and copper ions – find out more under chlorine-free water care. An integrated 3 kW heater is available for heating; for permanent outdoor use we recommend the optional 9, 13 or 17 kW heat pump, which noticeably reduces power consumption over the heating season. Find out more under pool heat pump.
