The INFINITAS SP7900 in detail
The lounge – the unique selling point of the SP7900
With an overall length of almost 8 metres, the INFINITAS SP7900 is the second-largest model in our fully inground series and the only one with an almost 2-metre relaxation staircase and an in-water lounge. It combines ambitious swim training on a lane of around 7 metres with a comfortable lounging area where you can sunbathe – with your body partly in the water – or relax with the family.
Like all models in the series, the SP7900 is fully sunken without a service shaft; the equipment is accessible from above via the integrated service lid. Find out more about the construction on the Fully Inground Swim Spas page.
On the almost 2-metre relaxation staircase, a lounger can be positioned so that your legs, hips or entire back lie in the warm water while your upper body or head remain in the air. This is a rarity in the market for sunken swim spas: classic above-ground or inground models have either a swimming area or a hot tub area. The SP7900 achieves both in a single pool contour — without the construction effort of a dual-zone design.
The same area also makes entry much easier: the low, wide staircase is safe for children and low-barrier for older users who can no longer comfortably manage a classic hot tub entry. This makes the SP7900 one of the few models that can truly be used across generations — from the toddler splashing in the shallow area to the athletic swimmer using the lane.
Athletic swimming area of around 7 metres
With a swimming length of around 7 metres (just under 1 metre is taken up by the integrated equipment bay), the SP7900 offers the longest stroke distance in our series below the SP9200. The five pumps deliver enough power for the optional turbine counter-current system with eight speed levels, which challenges even trained swimmers. The adjustable current and turbulence-free water flow make interval training just as possible as relaxed distance swimming.
Energy efficiency in outdoor operation
Full foam insulation of the pool wall, the INFINITAS Spa Bag (thermal wrap for overwintering) and the precisely fitting thermal cover keep heat loss low even in cold months. For continuous operation we recommend the optional 13 or 17 kW heat pump — it noticeably reduces heating costs compared with heater-only operation. Find out more about energy-saving heat pumps under pool heat pump. For water treatment, a UV steriliser and ozone disinfection are fitted as standard; the chlorine-free INFINITAS Vision System is available as an option.
